How is Hummbird different from ChatGPT for LinkedIn?
Provenance. Other tools generate content about you from a prompt, or learn your voice from what you've already posted. Hummbird derives content from a recording of you talking, so every word traces back to something you actually said out loud. The substance is yours and the arrangement is assisted: the interviewing and the editing are automated, the opinion is never written for you.
Will the posts actually sound like me?
They're built from your own phrases and your own stories, taken from the interview rather than from a prompt. When there's nothing real to write from, Hummbird asks you for a specific moment instead of inventing one. You can see the words a post came from at any time.
Does anything post without my approval?
No. Everything arrives as a draft, and auto-publish is off by default. Posts you accept wait on the calendar as dated drafts until you say so. Approval-first is how the product is built, not a setting we hope you find.
How long are the interviews?
Your choice: 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes, or let it decide. Go longer when you want to bank more at once. There's no countdown clock, just elapsed time and a natural wrap-up, and you can stop whenever you like.
Do I get video too?
Yes. One recording gives you both: text posts and rendered video with subtitles. Record to camera on your phone, edit by deleting words in the transcript, and a hook title card is suggested for free.
What happened to Velocitie?
Velocitie is now Hummbird. Same product, same login, new name and home. Nothing breaks for existing accounts.
How does the free trial work?
14 days free with a card, so you can use everything from the first minute. Prefer not to add a card? Take 7 days instead. We email you on day 10, before the trial ends, so the first charge is never a surprise.
What do the trials include?
Both trials give the same weekly allowance: 5 posts, 5 video renders, 10 images and 20 interview minutes per week. The free week is one week of it; the 14-day trial is two weeks of it. Limits are always visible in the app.
Why is annual half price?
Because you're committing for the year. Launch annual runs at roughly 50% off the monthly rate, and that is how we reward commitment. The percentages on the toggle are rounded, so read them as approximate. It's the same product on every cycle: one plan, no tiers, nothing held back if you pay monthly.
Can I add a co-founder later?
Yes, add or remove seats whenever you like. A seat is a full brand of their own: their own interviews, posts, analytics and LinkedIn. New seats are prorated to your current billing period, so you only pay for the days you use, and everything lines up on your next renewal date.
Can I change billing period later?
Yes. Switch between monthly, quarterly and yearly whenever you like. The change is prorated and takes effect at your next cycle, so nothing is lost mid-period.
